I first saw The Ergs! shortly after I graduated college, and was getting back into going to shows on a regular basis again. I'd already heard of them, about how much people loved them, but I figured "No way. There's no way they're THAT good." Then I saw them, immediately thought "Wow - they ARE that good", and proceeded to listen to DorkRockCorkRod over and over again. Let the record show that I'm a dick. I went on to see them every chance I got, including numerous hour-plus rides to New Brunswick, where they'd often be playing with bands they'd met on tour, convincing them there's more to the area than New York City.
